Project work
A concise look at the context, implementation and technical decisions behind the project.
DuoByte built Komplify for Prevision UG as a bilingual SaaS platform that automatically tests websites against Germany’s BFSG accessibility requirements and WCAG 2.2 AA. Businesses can assess a single page without registration or manage multiple domains in a protected dashboard and launch Light, Normal and Deep scans up to full-site crawls.
The audit engine combines Puppeteer and axe-core with custom heuristic, behavioral and cross-page checks for contrast, alternative text, keyboard access, focus order, form labels and semantic structure. Findings are organized by impact and confidence, then enriched with actionable remediation guidance, code examples, a manual WCAG checklist, AI-assisted fix suggestions and score trends.
Scheduled rescans, threshold notifications, scan comparisons and PDF, CSV and BFSG reports make changes traceable and support an ongoing compliance workflow. An AWS architecture based on Lambda, Step Functions, S3, CloudFront, Cognito, SES and PostgreSQL is provisioned with AWS CDK and delivered through GitHub Actions, while Stripe handles subscription and credit billing.
