Project work
A concise look at the context, implementation and technical decisions behind the project.
DuoByte rebuilt the website for Poco Brass, the Thierseifen brass choir, combining a tradition dating back to 1882 with a modern, mobile-optimized experience. The homepage guides visitors directly to upcoming events and uses a clear visual language to convey what defines the choir: brass music, faith and a community spanning generations.
Dedicated sections introduce the ensemble, its youth group, five instrument families and the board, while structured event and news pages keep performances, updates and individual stories easy to find. Historic Easter and Christmas recordings and a concert video remain available in a performance-conscious media archive, while a server-validated contact form protected against automated submissions delivers enquiries reliably via SMTP.
Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS 4 power the responsive interface; semantic metadata, JSON-LD, a sitemap, Open Graph assets and permanent redirects preserve visibility and support the migration from the previous site. An isolated Docker and Caddy deployment with GitHub Actions delivers every validated release reproducibly to production.
