Starting point
DuoByte built the browser application behind Anita for Anita Legal GmbH, creating an AI-assisted research and document platform for law firms, individual lawyers and legal departments. Legal questions can be submitted in natural language as quick or deep research, with relevant court decisions, private uploads, collections or the entire library selected as research context.
Implementation
The result workspace connects the AI analysis to clearly mapped sources and interactive citations, allowing professionals to verify references immediately and open, search, bookmark and reuse the underlying documents. A protected library organizes uploaded documents and collections, supports automatic anonymization of personal information and links research, chats and documents to hierarchical case files and sub-files.
Quality & operations
The role-based React frontend integrates Cognito authentication, AWS APIs and S3 document storage, Stripe subscriptions, consent-aware product analytics and Sentry monitoring; Vite, TypeScript, Chakra UI and extensive Vitest, Playwright, Semgrep and Gitleaks checks support reliable development and delivery.
